<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I did the same thing when I sliced the pad of my finger almost completely off. I sort of blinked at the can lid sticking out of my finger, pulled it out, wandered into the kitchen and said "hey, mom, look what I did!". She freaked when she saw my finger, because it was squirting blood everywhere. I was calm as could be.

although if I ever got lit on fire, I'd probably start screaming.
